The brief
The music industry has a dirty secret: most collaborations happen on a handshake. When a song blows up and there's no written agreement about splits, things get ugly fast.
SongPact wanted to fix that. A platform where artists and producers can create legally sound collaboration agreements in minutes, not days.
What we built
A web application where users can create contracts using guided templates, invite collaborators to sign, and manage all their agreements in one dashboard. We built the whole thing on Bubble with a Figma-designed interface.
The hard part was making legal documents feel approachable. Nobody wants to stare at a wall of legal text. We designed the contract builder as a step-by-step flow, almost like filling out a form, so users never feel overwhelmed.
Design decisions
We used a dark theme (musicians tend to prefer it since they stare at DAWs all day) with accent colors that feel creative, not corporate. The typography is clean but has personality. It needed to feel like a music tool, not a law firm's website.
The result
Over 500 contracts created in the first three months. Users rate the platform 4.8 out of 5. The founder told us the most common feedback is 'I can't believe this didn't exist before.' That's the best kind of compliment.
